Do I need to bring my iPhone back to factory specs, or wait for an update? Anyone else having this problem? Posted on Sep 26, PM. Page content loaded. Sep 27, AM. Oct 2, PM in response to sterling r In response to sterling r. I am had no music after upgrading from ios Since i did not turn off iCloud music library, i am assuming that it was turned off by the upgrade process.
After i turned iCloud music library on, apple music was starting to randomly download songs. Since i was on mobile data, i turn off downloads under the mobile data settings of apple music. Later some time i got a notification from my mobile provider that my download limit was exceeded.
With horror i realized that apple music downloaded Gigabytes of song data, even when data download setting was turned off. Right now the phone was on wifi over night and my music library is still not restored completely. Needless to say that i am more than disappointed. Oct 2, PM. My had been turned off too. Now the songs are back but I have to download each one again. This will use all my WiFi as I have thousands of songs. Very unhappy.
Dec 4, PM. While the iOS 15 home screen may look the same compared to iOS 14, many of the apps people interact with every single day have been vastly improved. Spend a lot of time using FaceTime? Apple Maps is more useful than ever , too, offering AR walking instructions and improved navigation for public transit. Combine all of that with new Safari features, a redesigned Weather app, and support for ID cards in Apple Wallet, and there are numerous areas where iOS 15's benefits are on full display.
Outside of these app-specific updates, iOS 15 has plenty more to offer as well. The notification shade has received a facelift, sharing links across apps is easier than ever, and the new Focus mode is a fantastic way to cut down on distractions throughout the day. Whether someone is interested in one or all of these things, iOS 15 has something for everyone. If there's one reason to be hesitant about iOS 15, it's the fact that there may be some lingering bugs.
Apple tends to squash most of these during the beta testing phase, but even so, it's possible for certain ones to skirt their way into the public release. For users worried about this, it's perfectly fine to wait and see what the public response to iOS 15 is once people have started using it on their own iPhones. If there's a game-breaking bug that Apple needs to patch, wait for a follow-up update to come out and download it then.
Either way you will get back the old keyboard. For ipad users, there is no one handed keyboard, but a new feature of flicking the keys to type alternate characters such as numbers was introduced. I am 56 and have had eye surgery.
I tried changing different settings, but nothing brings it back to what it was. It makes the passcode screen an awful brown, but it helps ever so slightly to see the passcode…. My lock screen is also so dark, it absolutely ruins the picture I have there….
I updated today to I think IOS I should have reviewed it before I updated. I wish I could put it back to how it was. It has so many senseless features. I really regret updating. Not happy.
My iPhone 6 quit connecting to cellular service on the morning of the ios11 release. I took it to a Verizon store a couple of days later and they said the antenna was burned out. They deactivated my 6, and reactivated my old iPhone 4.
I have been able to continue to use my 6 for internet activities and today I saw that Surprise, surprise, my 6 is now reconnected to cellular service. If it continues to be connected I will have it reactivated. I wonder how many others have had similar problems. If I say upgrade all it just hangs and if I try to do each one then it crashes out straight away. Anyone got any fixes? Why go through months of testing? Been in software dev for 25years and it hurts to watch Apple kill the industry so consumers EXPECT and are ok with updates all the damn time.
Worst QA on the planet. Using users as beta testers. Released too early, just to keep the yearly update rubbish going. I would prefer quality and not releasing beta software. Did 11 and today another. Only reason I went for it as it shows just Mb above. Damn thing is still going strong and 1. This may not be a big thing for most, but on a data package apple are taking the proverbial P. Just updated Also, the brightness always auto adjust to more opaque or full bright leads to battery drainage.
Even i disabled auto brightness, yet it still auto adjust. I cannot find anything on it anywhere. Seems The Come on, Apple, get your act together! Some parents can be really overprotective. I was going to go ahead and update my iPhone to this, but just as I was getting ready to do it, mommy came down to the basement and said her and daddy had to go out for a while, and I was not allowed to mess with my phone until they got back.
One would think that since I am 31 and successfully updated my iPhone once 2 years ago, that I could do it again by myself. I am so tired of them treating me like a little boy. I am fully capable of cutting up my own dinner when it is on the plate mommy! Name required. Mail will not be published required.
